Xb7 Wifi password not updating
When I try to update my Wifi password in the Xfinity app or from the Xfinity web site, it appears to work. But it does not update the modem. When I check the modem's settings, the old password is still set and devices will connect using the old password. I cannot change the Wifi password from the modem itself - that option is grayed out.
Any advice on how to get the modem to accept the change?

Hi, I did manage to get this issue resolved. The app and web site would take my new password (password B) and show that as the valid password. But the modem still was using the old password (password A). After waiting about a day, I changed the password using the app to password C. The modem updated immediately. Then I changed the password to password B and it updated immediately again. So I am good despite the indirect process.
