How to remove Device from your Home Networ w/ Xfinity app
•Open app cause your gonna need to Restart your Gateway.
•click on xFi Gateway Online and Secure (Located at the top of the Overview menu)
•click on Gateway (under Network Devices on the Connect menu)
•click Restart (let it run the process. Could take less than 12 minutes)
•click on the Connect menu
•scroll to Devices to select device that is undesired.
•select the device
•then select Device Details (under More Info)
•finally select Forget Device.
NOTE: it’s important that you restart your Gateway in order for Forget Device to be an option.

@user_01e2d9 , You can remove devices without restarting the gateway. I just did this to remove my old cell phone and it worked OK.
If the device you want to remove is still powered on and connected to the gateway, I would suggest powering it off before trying to remove it.
In the current version of the Xfinity app you should be able to do the following.
That works for me.
It is different than the older version of the app. Sometimes when I click on the Connect icon I have to tap Try Again as it doesn't open correctly.

@user_01e2d9 , need to add this: something I've noticed recently - since they came out with the newer version of the Xfinity app (and the website (internet.xfinity.com) changes made in the app (or on the website) to remove a device does not remove the device from the gateway itself. This use to work as I cleaned up my gateway before and every time I told the app to forget a device it would then be removed from the gateway. Not happening lately though.
I have added a post about this specific issue Forgetting Device in Xfinity App Doesn't Remove Device On Xfinity Gateway
Not sure if others are having this issue or not.
