Error code

403-106- this is the error code I get after immediately trying to delete a show I have watched on the app with my iPhone. Can you please fix it.

I get this too I logged out/closed the streaming app  DVR and it still gave the same message when I tried to deleted the watched episode.  For some reason the app does not know that the recording is completed.  If I start playing another recording and close that it will then allow me to delete the one I was trying to delete in the first place.

Hi @vunhappy, does the error code have any specific language along with it as well? 

I will mention that there is a known issue that our engineers are working on. The issue is related to the Xfinity stream app being out of sync with DVR recordings, this could be at play here.

After trying to delete the DVR recording after watching it, it  looks like it deleted it because the messages say it was deleted.  but then when I review my recordings it’s still there labeled as watched.  Then I try to delete it again the error is deletion failed:: 403-106.

Hi there, @vunhappy I do apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with trying to delete recordings. Have you tried refreshing your system? I would start by resetting your cable box and running a diagnostic check on your DVR using the Xfinity app. After resetting everything try to delete those recordings again. -Richard

This may be a duplicate response. The error message is deletion failed :: 403-106 and it didn’t get deleted.  I have seen another error message about the recording still being active (something like that). But this 403-106 is what I just got 2/17/26 11:57 ET
