Access denied on Xfinity app

I have a similar problem in getting "access denied" trying to log into the Xfinity app. I have deleted, reloaded, restarted the phone without success. I can't seem to get anywhere.

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out, we know how frustrating that “Access Denied” message can be.

Since you’ve already reinstalled the app and restarted your phone, let’s try a couple other things that commonly cause this:

First, make sure you don’t have a VPN, iCloud Private Relay, or any privacy/ad-blocking apps turned on. Even if you’re not actively using them, they can still interfere with login and trigger that error.

Next, try switching networks completely. If you’re on WiFi, turn it off and try logging in using cellular data, or connect to a different WiFi network. This helps rule out anything being blocked on your current network.

If you’re on an iPhone, also double check Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Private Relay and make sure that’s turned off temporarily.

If possible, try logging in through a mobile browser (instead of the app) at xfinity.com to see if that works. That helps confirm whether it’s app-specific or something broader.

If you’re still getting the same error after that, let us know what device you’re using and what network you’re on, and we’ll keep digging with you 👍

Thank you, can you please let us know what type of device you are using and if you are currently connected to your in-home Wi-Fi or are connected out of the home?

@user_2nyqan, Thank you for confirming. Can you please try the following steps here:

Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Reset, Reset Network Settings to fix potential IP configuration issues.

Let me know what happens when you try this step afterward.
