YouTube uses a different codec to produce HDR which requires a more powerful chip. Early Sony 4K HDR sets also cannot do YouTube HDR.

try swapping the set top boxes with their power supplies. do not move the HDMI cables nor coax cables. did problem change to the other location?

I beleive the chip in the XG1v4 is not capable of displaying YouTube in the HDR mode.  Only the Xi6 has the capability of displaying YouTube in the HDR mode.

Thought of that to , i know the xi6 has a better chip set but why support HDR on Prime video & Netflix & not Youtube.I also thought that the app needed updating, whats so different with the Youtube app.
