YouTube app issues. Resuming after pausing kicks me out of video. Random pops. Audio drops.

For a couple months now my YouTube app on X1 has been giving me issues.

When I pause a video and come back after 10 minutes, it wont resume and backs me out.

i get random popping noises.

i get audio dropouts where the video plays but no audio plays. Have to back out and go back in to get it to resume.

never had these issues before.

maybe YouTube needs to push an update?

xfinitys fault?

box issue?

Hi there, @AAXXAA. Thank you for sharing your experience with the YouTube app on our X1 platform. I'd like to look into what's causing the sound issues and the resume feature not working properly for you. To begin, what is the model of the cable box you're using? Do you have more than one cable box, and if so, is this happening on each of them or only one?

Xg1v4 box. Its only happening on this box and only on the YouTube app on x1, i think.

Thank you for the additional information. Have you tried a Refresh or Restart of the box by pressing the "A" button your remote to see if this would resolve your issue?

I no longer work for Comcast.
