XRE-03046 - Somethings not working

I have upgraded to new boxes (1 with DVR and 4 wireless top boxes). When installing the last top box I can not watch live TV and get an error code XRE-03046 - Somethings not working, to watch live TV, you must first turn off an unsed non-DVR set-top box by pressing its power button or watch an On Demand or recorded program. I have replaced the box but get the same message. If I unplug the power from one of the other top boxes it works fine. Is there a limit on how many top boxes can be used? I have 5 TV's in the house in different rooms. How can I fix the issue without having to unplug power to an unused box all the time?

How do I tell which DVR I have? I see Model: Pace PX022ANM or XG2v2-P. I orginally had a top box that was wired. cable from wall to box and HDMI cable from box to TV, but had the same issue. Will a different DVR box resolve the issue? any other solutions?

It depends on the model of the dvr that you have. The majority of dvrs have 6 tuners, when you count all 5 that leaves you with one tuner left for recording. Anything past one recording, you’d have to unplug a box. There is one model that has 5 tuners. You really need to swap one of your wireless boxes for a wired XG2. That will free up your dvr and remaining wireless boxes should work fine

The XG2 isn’t a dvr , just an HD box and has 4 tuners, that’s why the last wireless box can’t work, you’re out of tuners. The wireless boxes have to communicate with that XG2. Either upgrade to an actual dvr, or swap a wireless box for an XG2(like the one you have) or do both

I have the same issue.  Just moved and upgraded old equipment with what I thought was a new DVR and 4 other non DVR.  When hooking up last non DVR, got the XRE message. 3 trips to chat support re-established all 5 tv's for a short period, then one tv with a non DVR would revert to the XRE message.  The box I thought was a DVR is a XG2V2-P.
