adding...... this often happens during commercial breaks where the source is running a different format (for example mpg2) while the channel is mpeg4. if the header of the video has already played but the rest of the video is still playing the tuner can not lock on and 'fails' to tune. If you wait 30 seconds to a minute and try again the commercial will have ended and you can successfully tune to that channel. it is almost always a local commercial or local PSA.
