XRE-00002 error
Hello, I did a system. Refresh as my scheduled recordings were not happening. After the restart got the XRE – 00002 error. Called tech-support and they determine a technician needs to come to the house as it is a wiring issue. Early it’s appointment is in 6 days. I have tried to new DVRs. Both have went through the set up process and show up so that tech-support can see they are working and online both are getting the same XRE – 00002 error. I set up a TV and DVR outside where the underground comes into my house and the same problem exists so I know it’s not wiring in the house. I also have Internet and it has been working flawlessly this whole time so it seems to me it is some type of coding area error with my account. Does anybody have any suggestions on where I should turn? I am pretty sure the technician isn’t going to be able to fix it and I definitely don’t want to wait a week for my TV to work. Thanks.

I have the exact same problem, switched the box, switched to a hotspot. Still the same. This waste me about 4+ hours on chat and on the road. Totally not worthy my time.
Will switch away from Xfinity.
