xr15 remote

This has to be the poorest ergonomic design of a tactile device yet.  The previous model was much easier to use from a feel/touch standpoint.  Users need to be able to navigate a device without having to look to find the proper button and even then have difficulty "pressing" the appropriate one. In particular, the up/down and left/right "arrows" are quite difficult to feel and execute.  In addition, the manual provided with the remote is useless from the standpoint of explaining all the different functions of the controls.  Even the longer on line version leaves much to be desired.

You can use the XR11 remote, you don’t have to stick with the XR15

Understand, but that's not the issue.  When new/upgraded products are introduced they should have the same or better functionality as previous versions, especially from an ergonomic, i.e. user standpoint.  Designers failed in this instance.  I was a communications product designer for over 30 years which included writing detailed user manuals and I'm amazed at how many new technical devices are so poorly designed.
