xr15 remote doesn't adjust volume, turn TV on/off and mute doesn't work. I have a new Sony TV and an older VIZIO sound bar.

I have a new Sony TV and an older VIZIO sound bar.  Have been on the phone with Xfinity three times this week to remedy the remote issue.  They could not fix the issue and suggested replacing cable box and remote.  The cable box was replaced and the remote replaced three times.  I spoke with the local Xfinity store manager today (JJ) who said to request a service tech for a troubleshooting call and there would be no charge.

Is your particular TV model listed in the remote setup options?

Yes.  I can turn the TV on and off, control the volume and use the mute. However  I cannot adjust the volume on the Visio soundbar which I was able to do on the previous TV.

You used the XR-15 work with your soundbar and old TV, right?

The XR11 remote worked with the old TV and sound bar.  The new XR15 only works with the new TV but not with the sound bar.
