xr15 changed batteries..paired well all but power and volume

xr15 worked as it was suppose to, then we changed the batteries..paired it and voice and channels work but can't get power and volume back! I have factory reset remote, paired again, all works but power and volume still! I am at my wits end! The amount of time I have spent trying to fix a remote is ridiculous! All because it needed new batteries! HELP
