XR11 remote pairing with tv AND soundbar

My XR11 remote used to pair with Phillips TV and Bose soundbar where the TV power button turned the TV off and the all power turned the Bose Soundbar off. Had to exchange to another X11 remote today and unable to get it to work the same.
