XR11 instead of XR15

@XfinityZacharyA​ Specifically, is the XR11 compatible with the Infinity XG1A box?  The XR15 is a poor design!

Tried every suggestion. Most of the instructions here and the Android app in my cell phone are to pair a TV with the remote. Nothing work to pair the XR11 remote with the new DVR. The XR11 will power the TV, adjust  the volume and that is it. That is because it was already paired with the TV. But nothing works to use the XR11 with the new DVR X1 TV BOX.

I immensely dislike the XR15.  Who designed it? I guess  someone designed it to discourage the user to push the buttons and force them to use voice instead.

@sgtjdc Here are the specific steps to pair remote models XR11, XR5 and XR2

1. Press the Setup button on your remote until the LED at the top changes from red to green.
2. Press the Xfinity button on the remote. The LED will begin flashing green. 
3. Follow the instructions by entering the three-digit, on-screen pairing code.
4. Once the on-screen pairing code is correctly entered, your remote is paired with the TV Box.
