Xi6-T

Right now, I have XG1v4-A box want to swap it out for the Xi6-T box. The XG box I have now has been problematic, it's the second one since it was swapped out for another one.

Also, I'm using my own modem, would like to see if my plan I have now 1GIG will include for the Xfinity Wi-Fi gateway without any charge for the equipment.

Thanks!

Xfinity always charges for equipment, but the Xi6 will work on customer owned equipment without issue.

Comcast always has a rental charge for equipment unless you have the modem included in your plan. However, the Xi6 will work on customer owned equipment without issue.

@Tek I'm somewhat certain their new plans have equipment "included" as part of the fee. At least I think that's how it was a few months ago when I changed. I have my own modem so declined it, but I think it's included now.
