Thanks for posting on our community forums, @user_cf6396. I'm sorry to hear the TV box is not recognizing your TV. Are you getting a specific error code or message? Are you using an HDMI connection?

You mentioned that your xi6-t doesn't recognize your Roku tv. Would you mind clarifying what you mean by that? Or is your concern related to 4K channels not showing on the Xfinity streaming app?

@user_cf6396. Are you referring to the device settings on the TV box or your Roku TV? Where are you seeing the undetected message?

@user_cf6396 4K UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision HSD, and Dolby Atmos are available on specific TV models and may not be supported on all TV or receiver HDMI ports. You may want to try a different HDMI port on your TV. You’ll also need a 4K-capable HDCP 2.2 compliant HDMI cord. Refer to your TV manual to see if you can receive content in 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, and/or Dolby Atmos. In the box Device settings when you Select Video Display. Across the top of that page will be three icons that identify 4K capability in both the TV Box and the TV if the box for HD/4K is showing unrecognized I would try a different port on the TV as well as make sure you are using the correct type of HDMI cord capable of supporting 4k. On-demand content (for free, rental, or purchase) that's available in 4K, playback will automatically default to the appropriate 4K color depth based on your TV’s capabilities. For applications, you would need to check the settings for each app as well to ensure your playback options are set up correctly.

This is a great page for information on 4k content as well if you want more information: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/uhd-4k-faqs
