Xi6-A wireless boxes not connecting to XG1v4-A
Ok here it goes. We have Xfinity supplied through our community so Everything was working fine and then we had an outage on our original XG1 4k box and a letter that we are available to update our Gateway to the newer XB7-MC. I don't remember if we exchanged both at the same time or within a few days. Anyways my main problem is that with the XG1v4-A box hooked up to the only available coax in our living room non of the 3 wireless boxes (all Xi6-A) will get more than a couple random channels. All three boxes have the same message pop up when selecting a channel that is not one of the couple that still happen to come in. The messages says "Sorry, there seems to be a problem here. If you made changes to your account recently, the updates may still be in process. If not, please try another channel or try again later." XRE-03121
Now it has been several days so I know this is not just going to "fix" itself. We had a technician come out and ran tests and the only solution he could come up with was switching the main XG1v4-A box out with a much larger non 4k XiD X1. Now this was on my main 75" 4K tv so I was not thrilled but it fixed that problem but the box was so slow and unresponsive I took it back to Xfinity and asked what else can be done because it was like living on dial up again with that box. They did not know why I had the earlier connectivity problem but all they can do is change the box out and see so they gave me another XG1v4-A and said good luck. Well instantly I had the same problem "Sorry, there seems to be a problem here...blah blah blah" XRE-03121
So after many reboots, refreshes and searching the web back and forth I have narrowed it down to only a possible gateway issue. I even hardwired one of the Xi6-A's, which is normally on the other side of the wall of the gateway anyways, to the gateway to see if it was a wifi strength and nothing changed. My next move is to turn the gateway to Bridge mode and use my Orbi Wifi 6 AX6000 router and satellite to see if that changes anything. If anyone has had this problem or can offer some assistance in anyway please let me know.
thank you
