Xi6 boxes 30 second skip

I have 2 Xi6 STBs connected via Ethernet. A few weeks ago the Exit Exit Exit 0030 code stopped working. On one box when watching live TV the forward now goes back 9 seconds and the back goes back 30 seconds.

On my other Xi6 it goes forward 9 second and back 36 seconds.

No amount of rebooting, power cycling, and system refreshing has fixed this.

It also impacts voice commands as a voice command to skip forward 30 seconds does the same thing as the button, 9 seconds.

To make this more fun, it only impact live Tv. On demand and recordings work fine.

Any ideas?

Since the behavior is happening on both Xi6 boxes and even affects voice commands, this does not appear to be a remote programming issue. The 30-second skip code is still intended for recordings and On Demand content, which matches what you're seeing. Because the issue is limited to live TV and started recently, it may be related to a software update affecting live TV playback. As a troubleshooting step, try entering Exit Exit Exit 0500 to reset the skip function, then Exit Exit Exit 0030 to re-enable it. I do not see this as a known issue, so please let us know if this fix this issue.
