XG2 non-DVR box goes to screen saver for no reason

This only happens at night - the TV in the bedroom has a non-DVR box (I believe it is an XG2)

We leave it running the weather channelor the news all day, then at night on something like Epix or Fox Retro so that second rate movie play all night with the sound down (My wife has trouble sleeping, this helps for some reason - or she watches the movies)

in the small hours of the morning - sometimes more than once - the screen saver with the pictures and news blurbs kicks in, have to click 'last' to get the movie back.

Any idea what this could be?  Doesn't happen on the DVR machine in the living room

PS:  We USED to leave it on TCM, but htta was stripped out and added to the Sports Package (of course!  Football fans just LOVE black and white movies, right?)
