Is my cable box (XG1v4-A) 4k compatable? I dont see the option in settings to change the resolution to 4k 2160p

It is, is the equipment you have it hooked up to also 4K compatible? Your other posts included Xbox, what happens when you bypass it and go right to the tv. In the future just make one post and stick with it

It depends on your tv model, look at your manual and/or the ports on the tv, they may be labeled

The HDMI-IN port on the XBox is not HDMI 2.0 capable, it's only HDMI 1.4. Hence, no 4K. You'll need to hook up the XG1V4 to its own HDMI 2 port on the TV, or get a compatible splitter.

Then it doesn’t matter but you should still read your tv manual if there are differences in the ports
