XG1v4-A TV box poor quality

We have a XG1v4-A TV Box. The picture quality has always been very very poor. It appears to be washed out. Even viewing Netflix using the box is terrible. We use the app instead.

We are paying a lot every month and the quality through the XG1v4-A is not acceptable. I have replaced the HDMI cable and reset the box with no improvement.

Please advise.

Thanks, Steve Pruitt

Called customer support and an automated reset was done on the device. The automation assistant mentioned there were a couple of errors in the device and the reset should resolve them. So far the quality has improved.

each device connected to your TV via HDMI may need to have you use the TV's remote and the setup menu to adjust the video (brightness, contrast, gamma, sharpness, etc).  you can search for  test patterns on the X1 netflix app and get the video set up.
