XG1v4-A overheating
Have an issue where this 4k DVR box will not change channel after it has been running for some hours. Appears to be due to overheating. The front right side of the box, in front of the coax connection, gets very warm, though the box is in a well ventilated spot.
Anyone else experienced this?

there have been a few posts like this that are caused by the tiny one-inch fan on the top (middle front of top position) going bad. you can actually feel the breeze from it if it is working. if not working the computer chip will overheat and give various problems.

This is definitely not the experience we would want to hear happening and I assure you we will work on getting this fixed! Can you confirm if you feel that small breeze that our expert has mentioned?
