Is this box that hard to locate?
last year it took 5 attempts to mail me the correct box.
Now, the box has died, and I am having a hard time getting a replacement.
I was promised the tech that was coming out today had the correct XG1v4 box. When he showed up, he did not. he cancelled my appointment so I would not get charge.
I am NOT using my bandwidth for the xi6 box. I want a coax connection, since i just re-wired my house with new cat6a lines and coax lines.
seems like Xfinity creates a problem( wifi cable box) and hey conveniently have a solution that is an upsell to solve the problem, that they created. [Edited: "Language"] business model from a consumer standpoint. no wonder people are leaving...

The XG1v4 boxes definitely seem to be in short supply. All refurbished, never seen a new one. I've only been able to get one once at a store and I've been sent Xi6 and non-4K boxes as replacements. Good luck.
