On or about September 22 I tried to get an XG1v4 at my local Comcast store (Ballard neighborhood of Seattle) and was told the stores no longer have this equipment and it has to be ordered online. I then found the same statement on the relevant Xfinity webpage. So, I think the information in this answer is no longer correct.
