XG1v4 keeps rebooting

XG1v4 Will go off and then reset after being on for awhile got on chat last night and the person had me reboot my router? said it needed rebooted IDK having nothing but trouble with this 4k box any thoghts?

@Vinnyp61 Thanks for reaching out, and posting to our Community Forums. Have you checked the cable connections to the XG1v4 box from the connection point to the cable outlet? They need to be finger tight, and can cause an issue if they are loose at all.

My new 4k box reboots after an hour of use. It gets stuck on the welcome screen. I have to unplug the power to get it to work. But then after about an hour it reboots. Multiple chat sessions and no resolution.  All connections are tight and the xfinity app shows strong signal. I disconnected and reinstalled my non 4k box and have zero issues. Any solution to fix the 4k box issue?

@user_t9rbb7 Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. It sounds like the box you have needs to be replaced since you weren't able to replicate the same problem using a different box presumably at the same outlet. You can swap out the box for a new one at your nearest Xfinity Store at no cost, just make sure to bring the power cable as well as the box. We don't need the HDMI cable or TV remote.
