XG1v4 HDMI Port, is it HDMI 2.1?

Hi, I'm about to purchase a new OLED TV with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports.  In researching if I would need a special cable for HMDI 2.1, it got me wondering if the XG1v4 DVR box has an HDMI 2.1 port.  It is the only DVR box for 4K HDR according to Xfinity.  While the 2.1 is designed for 8K and gaming, it does support 4K at 120Hz refresh rates, which my new TV will have.  So what is the HDMI port on the XG1v4?

your current cables will work fine with the xg1v4 HDMI 2 (.0 or .1  whichever is in use). there is no need for higher speed cables at this time as the sources (like cable box) are maxed out 4k60UHD. If you are buying new cables they are readily available.

OK its almost 2021. When will the next model of the this x1 DVR come out? when can we get direct output support of HDMI 2.1?

The goal is 4K 444 12 bit 60 hertz or 4K 444 10 bit 120 hertz directly into an LG OLED 65 inch TV without having to do two conversions (on in the dvr and a second one in the TV).

I mean even the denon receivers support 8K Video through and upconversion to 8K and is all based on HDMI 2.1.

All the blu rays support 444 4K extended bit high motion speed direct to your TV.

What is the release schedule (and Model) here on HDMI 2.1 support in x1 class DVR channel select direct output? (and when will your customer know about it without asking here?

Thanks in advance. (a customer of over 30 years)
