XG1V4 Buzzing. Fan?

I just got a new 4K box. Was surprised by how loud it was. It sometimes is a low him or a high pitched buzz. Do these things have a fan? Just don’t want to replace if this is what is expected. My old DVD with hard drive and fan was more quiet.

I've got 4 and didn't think they had a fan but I noticed dust pattern on top indicating a round ran of about 2 inches in top-center-front of the xg1v4 case. sadly fan bearings go out often and may pass a bench test while the fan starts having bearing stress with longer running times and temperature. only fix is to swap it out.

I shined a flashlight into the box and can clearly see a small fan ~1 inch fan. I blew some compressed air (could see it spin rapidly) with no noise. I am convinced it is the hard drive. I thought these were SSD. Could it be that early gen of these boxes were HDD and more recent are SSD?

xg1 uses SSD (solid state drive, no moving parts).
