XG1v4 Box to Replace the 2xi-6t I Just Received

Is direct messaging still a preferred means of communication on this forum?

I am trying to return the streaming box I just received (2xi-6t). That box does not have coax connections. I believe I need the XG1v4.

I understand from reading on the forum that the XG1v4 is in short supply. I am not going to install the 2xi-6t, so if nothing else I would like to find out how to return it.

It's pretty terrible that there is no way I have found to talk to a real person.

Hi @user_lzucm7 are you still experiencing issues returning or exchanging your equipment? The fastest way to exchange your box would be at one of our Xfinity Stores in person. We can also send you a replacement and you can return the unwanted box through UPS or at an Xfinity Store as well. Please let me know if you are still having trouble with this.

I am sharing a link here on our different devices for comparison as well.

Hi Eva,

Nothing has changed since I posted my original message.

I feel like this experience was a real waste of time. Xfinity know what cable box I have now. It has coax connections. When I received the offer to upgrade via a text message there were no options provided, so I expected I would get the same capabilities with the new box.

The coax connection is a deal-breaker. I would like the XG1v4 which I understand is comparable to the XG2, which is what I believe we currently have. I also understand the XG1v4 is in short supply. I am not interested in a refurbished unit, so I don't know that it's even worth pursuing.

So, I would like to return the 2Xi-6t. I am not even going to try to connect it. If I can't receive a new XG1v4 by mail, I would just like to return the 2Si-6t by mail from a UPS store.

I am really disappointed that I found no way to talk to a real person. I get the push for Ai; but, I wasted a lot of time trying to find a solution online. This was as close as I could come. You wound think that spending almost $300 a month Xfinity would appreciate customers like me a little bit more.

DM Xfinity Support here and they can help with this. The only other option is go to an Xfinity Store and see if they have the XG1v4.
