XG1V4 4k X1 Box

My old X1 box allowed me way more than 150 hours of recording if I recorded in SD. It appears the new box restricts you to 150 hours regardless of available disk space. My current recordings use about 250 GB yet the recording space shows 98% full. Is there any way I can use all 500GB and not be restricted by the hours? I’m not interested in the cloud storage.

Hello there. We would be happy to look into the options to increase your DVR recording space. 

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

@XfinityCam​ Hi, thank you for the response. However, I cannot find the "Direct Messaging" icon anywhere on the website. Can you please provide more specific instructions on how to make it appear?

@XfinityCam​ Hi, I just figured out you meant messaging in the forum, not on the Xfinity website. I have followed the instructions. Thanks for the help, let's see what comes of it.
