XG1v4 4k output to Yamaha Receiver (TV reports no signal)
Using the following equipment;
- Xfinity XG1v4 set-top box
- Roku Ultra
- Yamaha RX-V385 AV Receiver
- LG OLED77C1AUB TV
- Zeskit MAYA 8K/10K/48Gbps/Dynamic HDR/eARC HDMI cables
I am unable to get a 4k signal through the Yamaha receiver from the Xfinity box. The LG TV reports NO SIGNAL. However, the ROKU works fine and the Xfinity box works only when I connect it directly to the TV. I'd leave it like that but then I lose audio from my AV surround. Yes, I COULD use an optical out from the TV to the Receiver, but that complicates the switching between the TV inputs vs. using the Receiver to do the switching. There is something not right between the Xfinity box and the Yamaha receiver. Does anyone have any clues?

Hello @smfrazz. It sounds like everything is working right but the Yamaha receiver since everything works until you add that into the equation. Have you by chance talked to Yamaha to see if it may be a setting or software issue? I have a Denon with a super close set up to yours. I had to connect my receiver to the internet and update it. After that I have not had any issues. I hope it is as simple as that to fix the issue.
