XG1 cable box
The cable box is stuck in a Voice Guidance loop.
I'm lucky to get to the next screen to choose a room. Then it loops back. At one point I thought it was going to go past that but no luck.
I've tried putting the remote on top of the box and it didn't work.
The tech that came out said he doesn't carried boxes on the truck. So hopefully this second tech has one. It's such a shame that we are coming for a different carrier and having a ton of problems now. :(

Hello Bobsticha1 thanks so much for taking the time to reach out with these service concerns here on our Xfinity Forums! It sounds like you had a service visit scheduled, did that happen already? If so, how did things go? Are you now able to use the cable box normally?
