Xfinity tells me I need a new Cable box

I just replaced my old AVR with a new Denon AVR. When I tried to stream Apple+ and Paramount+ I got a screen message telling me that I needed to upgrade my cable box????

Now I had been streaming both just fine before. So what changed? Why do I need a new X1 box to stream these services?

I had subscribed these service through the service not xfinity. What gives?

Hey, @user_aadcda! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear of the issues you are having with trying to stream these 2 networks on your cable box. If this started to happen when you changed out the receiver, it makes me wonder if the HDMI on the new receiver is not backward compatible with the old boxes. Can you try to do a power cycle on your cable box (unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and plug it back in) and then try to stream again and let us know if you still run into the same issue?
