Xfinity inability to disable screen saver is causing panic attacks. MAKE IT STOP

TV "falls asleep" every 5 hours now. It never used to do this. I NEED TO DISABLE THE SCREENSAVER PERMANENTLY. Not for 5 hours, FOREVER.

I live with an Alzheimer's patient and this "feature" is causing panic attacks — which causes hyperventilating/heart issues that COULD LITERALLY KILL HER.

What the heck are you thinking, Comcast? FIX THIS NOW.

Hi @human-being ! Thank you for visiting us on Xfinity Forums for assistance with this screensaver issue. I've had family members with Alzheimer's, so I understand how important it is to ensure their health and safety.

While I'm not showing we currently have the option to turn off the screen saver, I can definitely pass this along to the right team! Customer safety is a top priority, so I really appreciate you reaching out to let us know this feedback.

@XfinityCassandra are you able to offer Xfinity's stance on the benefit of the screensaver?  And I mean to Xfinity, can't really call it a benefit when it was forced upon your customers with no  way to opt in or out of it, or adjust settings for it.  Want to hear an outlandish theory? Xfinity using screensaver mode for crypto mining.  I hope someone doesn't discover such is true,  could handle it a lot better, yes use my connection but I should get a rebate towards lower bill like solar is now

Go to Settings>Device Settings>Power Preferences and then turn off power saver.

@user_27aa25 That option is no longer available. It's the whole reason I posted this.
