Xfinity box recorded show while power was out last night???

Power outage last night from about 9 PM to 1 AM. Was surprised to find that Fargo, which aired at 10 PM while the power was out, was recorded on my Xfinity DVR.

Curious as to how. (I do have record all new episodes set for this show. Guessing the recordings are stored 'in the cloud' and maybe the reference to it was refreshed when the power came back on???)
