X15 Remote loses its 1st paired device after pairing 2nd device

Hello.

I have a Roku TCL TV 43 inch and a Bose solo 5 soundbar. 

pairing both devices was easy - however, after the 2nd device is paired (soundbar) the X15 remote will no longer power off the TV - it will power off the soundbar. This issue happens in either direction. soundbar first TV second. once a 2nd device is paired it will lose its 1st paired. I have replaced the remote and even did a remote reboot. has this issue been reported and if so, is there a fix?
