X15 Remote and Hisense Amazon FireTV Control Codes

It may not be possible. Google's AI says:

• Use the original Hisense TV remote: This is the most reliable way to navigate to the correct input and press the required confirmation button.
• Use the Voice Command feature (if applicable): If you have an Xfinity Voice Remote (which the XR15 is), you might be able to say something like, "Change to HDMI 1" into the microphone. This functionality may depend on your specific Xfinity service and TV compatibility.

There are currently no known universal codes that resolve this specific input selection issue for all TV models with the XR15 remote.

If only! In my experience the AI results Google has begun inserting in search results are usually helpful, although sometimes they just don't make any sense. In this case, the results I posted above seem to me likely to be correct. It's similar to a pre-AI reply I wrote in 2024 in response to another "Can't use Comcast/Xfinity remote to select TV input" post.
