X11 remote now has me doing an extra TV step to get to HDMI

I have always used my X11 remote to turn on my receiver, TV and cable box. Just recently I now have to use the LG TV remote to click "HDMI" in order for my cable channels to stream on the TV. Why all of a sudden do I have to do this extra step? Thanks in advance!!

I am also having issues with my remote not connecting to my cable channels.

Just to clarify are you unable to change cable channels and view the guide with your Xfinity voice remote?
