X1 will not set up

My primary Xfinity set top box works well.  My remote TV with the X1 got disconnected for a couple of days.  I powered up the X1 box and I got the Welcome screen followed by a on screen message that says

"Just a moment  you've caught us in the middle of a quick household update.  Hold on while we finish up."  Then the screen goes blank and never completes the setup after waiting 30 minutes.

I went to my Xfinity app and reset the X1 Box which it did.  Unfortunately the same thing happened as detailed above.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

@Rob_555 , Oh, no! Thank you for reaching out to us through our Xfinity Forums Community, and thank you for your patience while awaiting our response. I understand that you've been experiencing some TV error messages, and I can imagine the concern behind this. Rest assured; you're with the pros, and our Digital Care Team of corporate experts are here, every step of the way! Can you let me know update?

Have you attempted a whole system power cycle? This is where you unplug both modem and TV boxes from power source for 5 minutes. Then, first plug in your modem first and wait for it to reconnect. Once your internet is back connected, then plug in cable boxes. Let us know.

@Rustyben

So sorry for the reply.  The problem turned out to be a malfunctioning X1 STB.  I exchanged the box at my local Xfinity store and since installation, the problem has disappeared.  Thank you all for comments.
