X1 upgrade to 4k

Looking to upgrade an older x1 box to 4k

the upgrade web page does not seem to allow you to choose a 4k box therefore am concerned I will just get another HD box. Any way to force it or must one go to the local office and suffer through the horrendously long wait times (last time was two hours).

Hello again, @user_0tga78! We just wanted to swing back by as promised and see how things are going. Have you received and installed your new TV Box yet?

Yes. Much faster than the old box. Had some pixelization a couple of times but could have been the source. Picture is better too. An easy swap as I happened to have an Ethernet switch close by (so not using WiFi). Old box already returned to store.

Excellent news, @user_0tga78! Thank you for taking the time to confirm. Visiting an Xfinity Store is probably my favorite method for taking care of equipment concerns. So glad they could help! If you need anything else down the road, please don't hesitate to create a new post, and our team remains here to support you and your household however we can :)
