X1 Plex app dummy app

So you supply the plex app when you sign in or register it says no internet access when the box like I’ve got is a docis modem all other apps work except plex. When you select skip sign in and try to navigate to the live tv it doesn’t even load the live tv. You cannot even call into Comcast to talk to an agent anymore thanks to my brother in law who is a telecom manager and controls the menus. So why does Comcast provide an app that is just a dummy app. A chat agent claimed he accessed the plex app but I doubt he selected skipped the signed in to discover there is no live tv. It works on any phone any computer any web app any smart tv but not a cable tv box what a bunch of <Edited: Language>

@Que Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. Just to clarify, you are having issues with logging into the Plex app on your X1 cable box? Can you clarify what type of error you are receiving?
