X1 - Pairing XR15-UQ Remote w/TCL TV & Vizio Sound Bar - Power Button Issue
Have gone through all the steps and had an Xfinity Tech visit. Same result - Everything works properly except the power button. It will only turn off the soundbar. Using codes 11756 for the TCL and 32454 for the Vizio. Countless resets(including cable box) and multiple codes have been tried. Xfinity Tech to report issue at his office. Anyone with similar issue and a resolution?

Happy that you found a solution for your TCL TV and Vizio SB3621N-H8 sound bar. Unfortunately the SB3621N-E8 does not support the functionality to "Program the Vizio Sound Bar to accept TV remote IR commands". From the Vizio User Manual page, one will find six models of the SB3621 sound bar. I suppose each has slightly different features.
After almost a year of using the extra steps of powering the TCL up and down with the TV's Roku remote, it's become second nature and not that big of a deal. After researching the heck out of it and trying numerous potential solutions, I've raised the white flag. Really don't have much other choice!
