X1 box slow 3rd party apps
When using my X1 box using 3rd party apps like Netflix or Disney+ takes an absurd amount of time. Sometimes taking up to 30 seconds to register an input from the remote. I have tried troubleshooting with the app and have reset the box multiple times with no change. The tv with the other TV box works just fine.

@user_36f89e That is quite a noticeable delay between inputs. During your troubleshooting, have you cleared the box's cache for 3rd party apps? To do so, you would want to:
Press the xfinity button (X1 or Flex) or home button (Xumo Stream Box or Flex) on your remote.
Navigate to the gear icon and then press OK to go to Settings.
On the following menu, get to Privacy and press OK.
Go to Locally stored data and press OK.
You'll see a confirmation window. Press OK to clear locally stored data.
Clearing locally stored data may sign you out of apps and may affect apps on devices linked to your account.
The instructions are also outlined in this article.

My Third Party apps are extremely slow as well. I have considered videoing the experience to show it to Xfinity. Is there a fix besides the above comment; because that does not work. I have also changed boxes to no avail. Lastly, I have heard that some boxes handle the 3rd party apps faster. Which box is that?

We just received a brand new box and from immediate setup, we are experiencing extrememly slow response from remote inputs when using 3rd party apps. The regular TV/guide works fine, but 3rd party apps are so slow to respond it is practically unusable. Obviously, as a brand new box, the cache clearing does nothing since we have not had it to build up cache issues. Clearly there is an issue with the boxes. Our previous box had the same issue, but we thought a new box would resolve the problem but...no luck. Same unusable delay on all remote inputs.
Is there anything that can be done? Is there a version of a DVR box that responds like any normal TV/box does?

you are better off getting a smart tv, or using something like a roku to view your streaming channels. the x1 just isn't fast enough hardware for this in my opinion.
