X1 box shows all channels but 1 pixelated...
Here's what we have:
- Switched to X1 box about 4 weeks ago.
- Watch channel 804 w/o any issues.
- All other channels show a pixellated screen and revert to an xre-03062 error.
- It does this for a day and then works fine.
- Then it happens again.
Trouble shooting done:
- Rebooted several times
- Unplugged
- New signal from Xfinity to reboot.
- Checked all cables.
- Channel guide displays perfectly.
- 804 channel is perfect.
- Can launch apps and watch shows that way perfectly.
- Recordings that were made are fine.
- Recordings that watched while being recorded are fine.
- Xfinity sees zero issues on their end.
- Signals all good.
Chatted with support which simply ran through the usual script, reboot, cables, etc. All of which didn't work. AND they had the gall to try and get me to take their "free apple watch" promotion through xfinity mobile. THAT really was unacceptable. A tech is coming to check BUT it will most like be working that day and he'll just leave w/o changing anything.
From what I can deduce there is only 1 thing that it could be and that is the X1 box is not displaying/outputting the Live Channels correctly. EVERYthing else seems normal. Just swap in a new box.
