x1 box power

This probably isn't an issue, but I have three cable boxes; one main box and two of the smaller x1 boxes. One of the x1 boxes has the power light on all the time whether the TV is powered on or not. The other box has the power light on only when the TV is turned on. If I turn the TV off, the power light goes off. If I use the manual power button on the box the TV also comes on. Again, turning the TV off via the remote will cause the power light on the box to go out, unlike the other box. I've looked at all the settings and as best I can tell both boxes are set up the same. I'm not sure if this causes any issues, such as missing updates, but I haven't noticed any problems due to the inconsistency. Is there anything to be concerned about?

Did you get any insight on this that you can share?

We have two new X1 DVR boxes and I noticed that one did power down with the remote but the other didn't.
I THINK I figured out that it has something to do with the video connection (since the Power Saver feature is related to the HDMI cable).
The one that does NOT power down with the remote is connected using AV cables (yellow/red/white on both ends).
We can still power down that box using the power button on the unit or say "Power Down" with the Voice button, but I really, really wish we could power down the box using a button on the remote.
The end of the article below suggests "they're working on it," so maybe there is NOW a way to do it???
