I need to restart my x1 box every day shortly after turning on the TV once, sometimes twice, a day.
After restarting; the sound stays on all day.

I have the exact same problem! I’m afraid to have a tech come out and “fix” the issue since every time they come it seems that I’m left with a new technical problem.
I also have the same problem. Things working fine three days ago
next time, try turning the TV off for 30 seconds then back on. did that restore sound?
