X1 Box Is at Setup Screen Every Morning

New X1 box.

Each morning, the box has reset itself and is at the screen that says it can't find the remote.  This mimics the same thing it does if you pull out the power.  So it seems like the box loses power each night.  There are no power issues in the house.  At this point, the X1 remote does not work and can not be paired.  Using a universal IR remote, I can go through all of the setup steps - enter phone number, answer questions, etc. Towards the end, I can re-pair the X1 remote. So multiple things going on here.  Why is the box at the setup screen every morning?  If you lose power, for any reason, why wouldn't the box just come up?  If you have to go through setup again at every power loss, that's crazy.  The last thing that doesn't make sense is that you can't even interact with the box because you can't pair the remote until the last step. If I didn't have the universal (IR) remote, then I could not do anything.  Oh, and why at night?  This is 3 days in a row.  It's like Xfinity forgot to attach this box to my account or something and every night it goes out and checks and resets everything and makes me go through setup again.

Thanks for reaching out on the forums, @user_f1c54f! I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with the X1 box. Since your post is from a couple of days ago, are you still having the same problems?

I had a similar problem, although not as often.  Tried a new remote and that didn't fix it.  Swapped the DVR and then it stopped.
