Wifi connection is good but my cable isn't working

My wifi is fine but my tv says there is a connection issue. Everything is plugged in the way it should be the cable is just not finding the connection.

I am having the same problem.  I'm just moved in to a recently bought home; previous owners had cable in all bedrooms and they all worked fine.  Now when I am trying to get TV, I get the message:

"Please tighten your cable connections then restart your TV box, which can often fix common issues."

I've checked, but no change in condition. How do I know the whether cable tv has been turned on at the source for our house?

Do either of you have an amp that’s not plugged in or lost power?

@leveeguy
Have you gone backwards in your house to check if your cables are physically connected? What troubleshooting have you done?

I have gone backwards and also tried to check wiring diagrams of the Amp. I tried connecting the DVR directly to the amp and the connection notice still says tighten connections and restart DVR.

I am almost convinced it is an issue with the Amp itself.

I have one feed from the amp (-4dB VolP Out) that I am able to split after the amp and get both WFI and TV.  I get the tighten connections notice on Power In/Out 1, Out 2, Out 3, Out 4.No signal Power in/Out1, 2, 3, 4No signal Power in/Out1, 2, 3, 4Strong signal from -4dB VolP OutStrong signal from -4dB VolP Out

I didn't reply on your post until the images were 'approved' so I could see them. On the end where there are just two connectors on one side and one on the other there is a single coax connector for power (when supplied the unity amp will have an illuminated LED). Did you find the amp and determine where the AC access would be located for the small power brick?

Top left of second picture there’s no power. Those amps even with no power, the voip port passes signal, the other ports don’t. Bypass the amp with a splitter until you can get the proper power brick for the amp. Once you do either, you should be good. There will be a little green light on the amp to let you know it’s powered up. The attached picture is what you’re looking for.
