Why do you have a "Nap Mode" that doesn't even save power? It is really annoying.

I have the TV on most of the day. I don't want it to go to sleep or in "Nap Mode." All of the other posts on this are just closed saying we don't support turning it off. Why did you create it in the first place? Did anyone actually ask for this feature?

I'm not seeing anything related to this from the FCC. The only thing tangentially related to this is the Energy Star program that is voluntary.

Hey there CappyPM. Here is some additional information about the feature https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-screen-saver. Let me know if this helps any.

@CappyPM  it's "voluntary" meaning you have to be compliant or catch holy "heck" for not being complaint.

pure scam

@XfinityJon Thanks, but this is instructions for the screen saver, which comes on after I have paused something. My problem is with "Nap Mode" where you get a message "Are you still there" and the TV goes to the screen saver. I do not want this to happen. I work in my home office, and many days have financial news on my TV. I rarely change the channel, and don't want to have the feed interrupted every day by this "feature."

CappyPM There is currently no way to completely disable "Nap Mode" from taking place. It is designed to go into this mode after 4 hours of inactivity. You may want to try periodically engaging with your TV so that you reset that internal timer. We appreciate your feedback here and apologize for any inconvenience.
