Where is HD function for Amazon music?
I do pay Amazon for the HD music service, and do see HD or Ultra HD options on the phone app and my PC. When I access the Amazon app in my 4k cable box so I can listed through my home theater, it doesn't show any HD options. I asked Amazon, who advised I reach out here to get the app updated or fixed

The higher res content that Amazon calls HD and UltraHD does not play through the Xfinity Amazon Music app. No 96/24 or 192/24 . That's true of most streamers. The only way I've been able to get higher resolution playback is through Denon HEOS. As for Atmos encodes on Amazon Music, that was added recently, but only on Fire devices.

Hi @vlawde, thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Forums today! While you won't see an 'HD option' through the app select 4K UHD and 4K UHD/HDR content is available if you use the Amazon Prime Video app on X1 and have an X1 XG1v4 or Xi6 TV Box as well as a compatible 4K or 4K/HDR TV. (This feature also applies to the Flex with an Xi6 streaming TV Box along with a compatible 4K or 4K/HDR TV.) We have the full details for this app here. If you're using the Amazon Music App we have those details here.

So you're saying Amazon Music still streams some music in HD/Ultra HD despite that labeling not showing up on songs/albums like it does with my phone and PC? It doesn't sound like it to my ears. I'm asking about the Amazon music app built into the 4K cable box
Model:
AX014ANM)
To be clear, Amazon Prime video plays fine in 4k. I am asking about the separate Amazon music app.

Thanks for answering my questions. I hate to be a pain, but I'm being told by Amazon now that if the HD notifications in the app aren't showing up, your cable boxes likely do not support their HD service. I understand my box will play the best video/audio quality available, but it just doesn't seem like HD quality, sounds pretty much the same as Pandora or Spotify, neither of which offers HD quality. I can stream from my phone which DOES show the HD under music and even though bluetooth isn't the best for audio quality, it sounds crisper and clearer to me.
I'm just looking for clarification, since everywhere I ask I am being told different things
From Amazon: "Open your Amazon Music app to check the audio quality of the song you’re playing. HD or Ultra HD badging displays on the Now Playing page when the song is available at that quality."
