where do I get help around here???
I saw a notification on my tv screen. It said "we're unable to reach you by text message.Press OK then add/edit phone to update your mobile phone number". So I press OK and it wants the "apps PIN" which I have no idea what it is. I call Xfinity. I go around and around with that robot, trying to describe my problem and I get hung up on repeatedly because my problem isn't included in the narrow number of choices given. WHAT is so hard to understand about "let me speak to an agent"? FINALLY after a half hour they actually connect me to a LIVE person!!! who can't help me but passes me on to someone who supposedly can. He is able to reset my password, but cannot give me an apps PIN, he says it is locked and he passes me on to someone else. I wait TWENTY minutes getting nothing but background music, after a while I gather that department is closed. I call back and get the robot again, who just asks the same questions that have nothing to do with my problem, then tells me I can schedule a callback for THE NEXT DAY. Look, I have spent ENOUGH time on the phone TONIGHT and not getting the problem solved. What is wrong with you people? If I could get a reasonable substitute for Xfinity I'd be gone tomorrow,. Your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

I'm replying to this post because I'm unable to locate the proper place to post a complaint - here's my complaint: Why bother insulting customers with the useless and crummy rewards? Whoever thinks these things up doesn't live in the everyday world. Maybe a simple $10 off our bill would make more sense.
